I'm not one for making resolutions, but hopefully I'll put up some new content on the site this year...

I have moved my domain hosting to a new service.

The migration has now been completed, please let me know if you find any problems with broken links, missing pages/graphics etc.

Due to the increasing number of e-card viruses and worms now propagating around the internet, I am adopting a new policy towards this type of e-mail:

Effective immediately, e-cards will be deleted UNREAD.

Sorry folks, but if you need to get in touch, just send me an ordinary, non-HTML e-mail and write like a normal human being. That way, you won't get impaled on my spam filters, okay ?

If you've come to this site because you have received spam carrying a @csking.co.uk e-mail address, please be assured that these e-mails are FAKE and were NOT sent out by me.

I do NOT sell anything over the internet, and even if I did, I wouldn't be so irresponsible as to use Unsolicited Commercial E-mail ("spam") to advertise it.

These messages are being generated by a piece of "ratware", which forges mail so that it appears to come from specific domains - most likely ones belonging to people who have disrupted spammer activity in the past.

No thanks to the spammers using dirty e-mail lists to send out their junk, I get several thousand bounced messages every day. People using challenge-response systems to "protect" their mailboxes are compounding this problem for me, as I get a challenge for every forged csking.co.uk spam sent to their mailboxes.

I'm a victim in this too, and I'm having to take some extremely drastic measures to stop my inbox from melting down.

Sadly, some mail server operators out there make the problem far worse, by bouncing the forged spams back to "sender"...

I've made a few minor changes to site navigation:

• Clicking on the title banner now returns you to my home page - apparently, not being able to do this confused some people !

• Clicking on the copyright notice at the bottom of each page now takes you to my Disclaimers and Legal Notices page.

• All off-site links should now open in a new browser window - this may cause problems with certain pop-up blockers, please let me know if you are affected by this change.

• Margins between menu and article blocks should be more regular now.

The site has been completely overhauled, the first time much of the material has been touched in five years.

Some of the older material has been updated or removed.

The Class of '92 photo gallery has been updated with higher-quality pictures, and some new pictures have been added after some old negatives were rediscovered recently.

A new section has been added - Skool Daze - carrying photographs taken during my last days at school.
